Skylark

The architecture of this Ranch-style home was honored in the landscape, where we fused modernist ideas via contemporary plant layouts while nodding to the American West with the addition of drought-tolerant specimens that grow well in So Cal. Large dramatic and shapely Tree Aloes frame the front and add height. Fragrant Plumeria and a Cercidium x ‘Desert Museum’ Tree add seasonal color and interest. The backyard was planned to be low maintenance and non-messy around the existing pool. A cocktail herb garden, citrus trees, and a fragrant vine create a feeling of an intimate garden- perfect for entertaining friends and family.
